Hey everyone! Hope you all are having a great fall break! Can’t wait to get back to working hard on Monday.
We have some important and exciting things that need to be announced! First off, we will be performing a “Preview” of the show on November 15th. This is for the grand re-opening of the Fine Arts Center. This is an awesome opportunity for advertisement. Please tell us ASAP if you cannot be there. More details coming very soon!
Next, costume due date has change. The original due date was November 21st, the date has been moved to November 7th. We would love you to bring costumes before November 7th so the directing team can pass it off. The costume list will be provided no later than this Thursday, October 21st. If there is anything that you cannot absolutely get please let us know.
The next thing on the agenda that needs discussing is the rehearsal schedule for the week of Halloween. We will be having out regular scheduled rehearsal on Monday, October 28th. Then on Wednesday October 30th, we will have another rehearsal from 7-9 meeting downstairs first. Then on Saturday November 2nd we will be having our first Saturday rehearsal from 8:30-12:30. We will not be having rehearsal on Halloween.
Finally, we want to ask you to work on your accent. When your talking, singing, screaming, etc. It’s crucial that you all have great accents throughout the show, whether you’re in the chorus, or you’re a lead. If you sing or talk in the show you need an accent. That brings us to your homework! For your Fall Break Homework, we want you to send a video of you saying the following sentences in your accent. “See a magic spell and a boy collide right before your eyes at Brigham City Fine Arts Centers Production of James and The Giant Peach, December 12, 13, 14, and 16.” This is due by rehearsal on Monday and it will be later used for advertising. Remember to use your accent!!!
